Live-to-Tape
Finished when you are.
Live-to-tape means your show is produced while it's shot. A technical director cuts the cameras. Graphics land in real time. Audio is mixed and color is graded live. When you wrap, the content exists. No edit queue, no weeks of waiting, no revision spiral.
The edit doesn't disappear. It moves.
Every decision an editor would make over three weeks happens in the room, during the shoot, by a crew doing it in real time. Cameras are switched live by a TD. Graphics drop in on cue. An audio engineer mixes as you speak. Color is graded live in DaVinci Resolve, so the image on the program monitor is the final image. You watch the actual show being made, and you can call for another take the moment something bothers you. The honest caveat: same-day means the produced program. If you want minor polish afterward, trimming a false start, swapping a graphic, packaging cutdowns, that typically takes 24 to 48 hours. We'll tell you exactly what to expect before you book, and we'd rather under-promise here than surprise you.
Who this is for
If you make content on a schedule, live-to-tape was built for you.
Corporate messages
CEO updates, all-hands segments, announcements. Recorded at 10, watchable by the afternoon.
Interview shows and branded series
A host, a guest, a multi-camera set, and an episode that's done at wrap.
Training and internal content
Batch a quarter of material in a day and leave with all of it.
Anything with a deadline
If the video has to exist today, editing-later is not a plan. This is.
When it's the wrong tool
If your project genuinely needs heavy post work, scripted VFX, or documentary-style editing, live-to-tape is the wrong tool and we'll say so on the first call.
The gear
Cameras and switching
Blackmagic Pocket Cinema cameras on multi-camera sets, cut on Blackmagic ATEM production switchers by a technical director.
Live color and audio
Color graded live in DaVinci Resolve, so the program monitor shows the final image. Lavalier microphones mixed live for broadcast.
On-set support
Teleprompters and confidence monitors, so delivery looks natural. An LED video wall is available when the show needs an environment; see virtual production.

Why live-to-tape
The show is produced while it's shot, and that changes the economics of making content.
You watch the show being made
The program monitor shows the finished frame while you record, and you can call for another take the moment something bothers you. No surprises three weeks later.
Same-day, honestly defined
You leave with the produced program. Minor polish afterward, a trim, a graphic swap, cutdowns, takes 24 to 48 hours. We say this before you book, not after.
Batching is where it pays
Record a month of content in a day. The set, the graphics, and the crew are already running; the marginal episode is cheap.
Broadcast discipline, recorded
It's produced with live discipline but recorded, so you keep control. Nothing publishes until you say so.
What clients say

10 stars! Working with Anthony and VJ is incredible! They ACTUALLY work WITH you. They ask all the right questions to get the vision of what you want to do and they make it come to Life in the cleanest, most professional way.
Anthony and Valentine are must haves for your content creation needs. Each summer I host a large boat party (Over 100 people) in which they capture a recap video and professional photos for and they are just the best. They arrive timely to your event and in terms of turnaround on deliverables, they far exceed your deadlines.
What moves the price
Live-to-tape typically costs less than a shoot plus weeks of post, because the post is the shoot. What moves the number:
- Session length, and how much you batch into it. A full day of episodes is the best value.
- Camera count and set complexity.
- The graphics package: lower thirds and titles in your brand, built before you arrive.
- Deliverables: the program cut is standard; isolated camera recordings and social cutdowns are add-ons.
- The polish pass, when you want one: trims, graphic swaps, packaging.
Rates on request. Call (848) 279-9164 and you will get a straight number on the phone, not a form and a follow-up email.
Common questions
+Is live-to-tape the same as a livestream?
No. It's produced with live discipline but recorded, so you keep control. Nothing publishes until you say so. If you want to broadcast live from the studio, we do that too.
+What if someone flubs a line?
You stop and take it again, exactly like any shoot. The difference is the retake is switched, graded, and mixed the moment it happens. Small trims afterward are the 24 to 48 hour polish pass.
+Can we record multiple episodes in one session?
Yes, and you should. Batching is where live-to-tape pays for itself. Clients regularly record a month of content in a day.
+Do we get the raw footage too?
Yes. You receive the program cut, and isolated camera recordings are available when your package includes them.
+How far are you from Manhattan, and where do we park?
45 minutes. Free parking at the door at 590 Park Ave, Suite 1C, Freehold, NJ.
+What should we bring?
People, wardrobe, and your script or talking points. Send brand assets ahead and your graphics package will be built before you arrive. Teleprompters are in the room if you want them.
+What does it cost?
Less than a shoot plus weeks of post, because the post is the shoot. Rates on request: you get one written price covering set, crew, graphics, and deliverables.
