Privacy Policy

What this policy covers

This policy covers this website, avp.live, and the inquiry form on it. Our streaming and ticketing platform at stream.avp.live is a separate system with its own accounts, payments, and viewing records, and it is not described here. Booking a call sends you to a scheduling page our customer relationship system operates for us, and what you type there goes into that system directly.

What we collect

When you submit the inquiry form we collect your name, email address, phone number, the company you named if you named one, and whatever you choose to tell us about your event: the type, the date, and your notes. We also record how you arrived and where you asked from: the page you landed on, the page the form was on, the service that page was about, the referring site, and any campaign parameters in the link you followed, including the click identifier Google or Facebook adds to an ad link (gclid, fbclid). That arrival information is stored in your own browser from your first visit, it stays there after you submit, and it is sent with your inquiry. If you never submit the form, we never receive your contact details. Whether or not you ever submit it, our website host records the ordinary server log of your visit, including your IP address, your browser, and the pages you asked for.

Cookies and Do Not Track

This site sets no advertising cookies and runs no analytics, session recording, or social media tracking scripts. The only thing it stores in your browser is the arrival information described above, and nothing reads it except the inquiry form on this site, which sends it along with your inquiry when you submit. We record the ad click identifier that Google or Facebook puts in a link, but we run none of their scripts and send nothing back to them, so nothing here follows you onto other websites. We do not act on a Do Not Track signal, because there is nothing here to turn off.

Why we collect it

To reply to your inquiry, quote your event, and keep a record of the work. Campaign information tells us which advertising and which referrals are worth continuing, and it is filed with your record so we know where an inquiry came from. We do not use it to build a profile of you or to advertise to you elsewhere.

Consent to contact you

The form asks for two different permissions and they are not the same thing. Submitting the form means you agree we may email and call you about your event inquiry, because that is how we answer you. It does not put you on a marketing list: we will not add you to marketing email without your okay, and you can unsubscribe from any marketing email we do send. Text messages are separate and optional. There is a checkbox for them, it is not ticked for you, and leaving it alone does not stop your inquiry from going through.

Text messages

If you check the text box, AVP.Live, operated by Anthony Valentine Productions, LLC, may send you text messages about your inquiry and your event: our reply, quotes, scheduling, and production logistics. By checking the box you confirm the number you entered is yours, or that you are authorized to consent for texts to it. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or email info@avp.live. Reply STOP to any message to stop. Agreeing to texts is not a condition of any purchase. We record whether you checked the box, the date and time you submitted the form, and which version of this wording was on screen when you did. If you leave the box alone we record that too, and we do not text you.

Stopping texts, calls, and email

You can withdraw any of these permissions at any time. Reply STOP, or END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT, to any text and the texts stop; you will get one confirmation message and nothing after it. Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email. Or email info@avp.live or call (848) 279-9164 and tell us to stop, and we will treat that the same way.

Who we share it with

Your inquiry is sent to our customer relationship system, GoHighLevel, which stores it and processes it on our behalf and delivers the email and text messages we send you. Our website host, Vercel, serves this site and keeps the server logs described above; if an inquiry fails to reach GoHighLevel we also write a shortened record of it to those logs, being the domain of your email address, the last four digits of your phone number, and how you arrived, so that we can still find you. If you book a call through our calendar link, the name and time you enter go to GoHighLevel the same way. We disclose information where the law requires it. If the business is sold, client records go with it. Those are the only third parties that receive information you send through this website. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers, marketing partners, affiliates, or lead generators. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with the service providers that support this messaging program, such as our customer relationship system, is permitted, and they may not use it for any other purpose. All of the categories above exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Recordings and footage

Video and audio we produce for a client belongs to that engagement and is governed by the agreement for that job. Memorial streams are unlisted: we do not advertise the link and we do not list the service in any public schedule of ours. We give the link to the family and to the funeral home or whoever else is arranging the service, and they pass it on as they choose. An unlisted link works like a key, so anyone it is forwarded to can open the stream.

How we protect it

This site is served over an encrypted connection, and we send your inquiry on to our customer relationship system over one. No system is perfectly secure and we do not claim otherwise. If a security breach involves your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by applicable law.

Your rights over your data

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you and for a copy of it, ask us to correct anything in it that is wrong, or ask us to delete it. Email info@avp.live and tell us which. We will delete your contact record and confirm when it is done. Three things survive that deletion, and we will tell you if they apply to you. We keep the consent record itself, which box you ticked, when, and from which form, because it is the proof we had permission to contact you and because deleting it would let stopped messages start again. Where we have done work for you, we keep the records of that job that we are required to keep, such as contracts and the accounts. Server logs age out on their own schedule and are not deleted on request. We may need to confirm that the request came from you before we act on it.

Children

This site is for booking event production and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child sent us something through this site, email info@avp.live and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will replace the text on this page and change the effective date at the top of it. The version on this page is the current one.
